Vila Inanda - a luxury getaway in the sunniest region of Madeira
If you are looking to rent a Luxury Villa in Madeira, don't look any further! Vila Inanda consist of four beautifully appointed, modern apartments in the hills above the quaint village of Ponta do Sol, known for being the sunniest and warmest part of Madeira Island. Vila Inanda Apartments have access to a large pool and sundeck!
The property was finished in March 2022 and faces the Atlantic Ocean, offering breathtaking sunsets and views of the hills and villages around Ponta do Sol. It is a comfortable 40-minute drive from the airport, and is 5 minutes by car to the quaint and vibrant village of Ponta do Sol, where you will find restaurants, pubs, a pebble beach, supermarket and petrol station. Ribeira Brava and Calheta are about 15 minutes away.
The apartments are well appointed with wi-fi, open-plan living and dining areas with luxurious kitchens with dishwashers, microwaves and fridge/freezers, bathrooms with double basins and large walk-in showers, and spacious bedrooms. The garden, which overlooks the ocean, boasts a sundeck and large shared swimming pool.
The property has a communal laundry room with both a washer and dryer.
It is advisable to hire a car in Madeira to ensure you maximise the beautiful mountainous landscape. Scooters are also available for rent in the village of Ponta do Sol.
Apartment layout and amenities
Vila Inanda is a contemporary new building consisting of 4 separate apartments. Two 2-bedroom apartments of 120m2 each and two 1-bedroom apartments of 90m2 each.

- all apartments have access to a large pool with sundeck overlooking the ocean, complete with sun loungers, umbrellas and communal barbeque.
- high-speed internet and wi-fi coverage throughout the apartments
- communal laundry room equipped with a washing machine and dryer
- baby cot, highchair, baby bath and linen available on request. (Euro 10 per night)
- secure off-street parking.
NOTE: In March 2023 building activity started on a neighboring plot. This unfortunately can cause some noise disturbance in an otherwise very quiet environment. Building activities take place on weekdays during business hours. At the moment (January 2025) the house structure is closed and work is limited to finalizing the house from the inside. For the past months we have not received any feedback anymore related noise.
First Floor and Ground Floor 2-Bedroom Apartments
The first floor and ground floor two-bedroom apartments are almost identical. Each apartment sleeps 4 guests. The main bedrooms have a king-size bed, en-suite bathrooms and walk-in dressing rooms. The second bedrooms have two single beds. The accompanying second bathrooms have a shower, double basin and toilet.
The open-plan kitchen, dining and living areas lead out to a balcony or terrace to enjoy the superb Atlantic Ocean views. The kitchens are well equipped with an induction stove, small appliances and separate sculleries with a dishwasher. A smart TV with TV channels complete the living room set-up.
First Floor and Ground Floor 1-Bedroom Apartments
The first floor and ground floor one-bedroom units each sleep two guests. The bathrooms includes a shower, double basin and toilet.
The open-plan kitchen, dining and living areas open up to the poolside patio or balcony with a dining table and chairs to enjoy the magnificent view. The kitchens are well equipped with an induction stove, small appliances and dishwasher. A smart TV with TV channels and wi-fi complete the living room set-up.

In the surrounding area, you will find various attractions:
